About the Material
A pearl is not a stone: it is grown inside a mollusc, built from layers of nacre — aragonite platelets bound with protein. The glow comes from within, light playing between those layers, which is why "inner glow" is literal as well as a teaching. It is the same material as Sacred Crystals' Aragonite and coral, and one of the most fragile things in the range.
Wearing & Care
Sterling silver tarnishes slowly in air; a silver polishing cloth keeps it bright. Put it on last, after perfume and lotion, and take it off for showers, swimming and sleep. Pearls go on last and come off first: perfume, hairspray and cosmetics dull the surface, and acids — vinegar, citrus, household cleaners — dissolve nacre. Wipe them with a soft damp cloth and dry; no ultrasonic, no soaking. Store them apart from harder stones, which scratch them. Cleanse them with moonlight.
